Frugal dating
Rent a movie, make some popcorn, turn out the lights and cuddle up! Sit back, relax and just catch up on each other’s day.
Get dressed up and visit the same place (or the equivalent) and get to know each other all over again. Enjoy a coffee together at the local coffee shop or Starbucks.
Since we don’t have kids yet, we don’t have to be concerned about adding in the cost of childcare for a date. Turn your phone on silent, put away other devices, and just be together.
Anyways, I’ve broken these date ideas down by price so that you can find dates ideas that are in your budget.
Basically you map out a bunch of thrift stores in your area and visit each one and look for bargains.
Similar to the thrift-store marathon, you just spend a couple hours hitting up garage sales.Just as a disclaimer upfront, some of these are cheaper than others and some of them are more fun than others.I am sure you will find some of the date ideas to be boring, but know that someone else is reading that same idea and thinking how fun it sounds.Or, even if you still need some of the missing ones, it would surely not cost you that much. Add a few candles to your dinner to make it a little more romantic.Plan for an Active Date – Strap on those roller blades, grab a baseball glove, put on your bathing suit, grab a golf club, or just tie your shoes and take a walk or jog. Movie Night At Home – Order a movie from Amazon or grab the latest new release from Redbox.
